In this post i am going to tell you how to stream or download videos from YouTube or any other popular site using VLC Media Player. This trick is useful when your IDM trial period expires and you have to download any video from a website that do not provide any download option.
- How to Watch YouTube videos in VLC:
- Open VLC Media Player. (Or if you don't have VLC then Download from here)
- Press 'Ctrl+N' to Open Network Stream.
- Copy the Video URL from YouTube or any other site and Paste it in VLC Network Stream field.
- Click on Play & wait for video to load.
- How to download YouTube videos using VLC:
- Open VLC & Click 'Ctrl+N' to Open Network Stream.
- Copy the Video URL from YouTube or any other site and Paste it in VLC Network Stream field.
- Click on Arrow near 'Play' button and choose 'Convert'.
Or Just Press 'Ctrl+O' after pasting URL.
- Now a new dialog box will open (See Image Below).
Here you will have to change the Output Profile & Destination folder of Video.
- Change Settings according to image & Click on Start to start your download.
NOTE: Do not close VLC Media Player window while it is downloading your Video.
